Double Your Impact for Our Neighbors This Giving Tuesday image

Every day, neighbors across Hood County walk through the doors of Ken Hill Health Center. People come to us for many different reasons, and we work to make sure each patient we serve finds a caring provider, the medicine they need, and a place where they’re treated with dignity.

As a donation-based clinic serving uninsured Hood County residents, we rely on the generosity of our community to keep our doors open. So far this year, we’ve cared for 437 patients, including 107 neighbors who found care they didn’t have before.

This Giving Tuesday, your gift goes twice as far. MARA has offered to match every gift, up to $2,000, from now through Tuesday, December 1. Our goal is $5,000, and we’d love for you to help us get there.

Here’s what your gift could do:

  • $25 could fill a prescription so someone can get the medicine they need.
  • $50 could cover lab work that helps our providers catch problems early.
  • $100 could provide a Cologuard test, an easy at-home colon cancer screening that can save a life.
  • $125 could give one patient a full visit with a caring provider.
  • $500 could help care for a whole family, with visits and support for everyone in the household.
  • $1,000 could provide eight patient visits, keeping eight people healthy and cared for.
